The Fax and Scan service allows a user to send and receive faxes and use a scanner.

Overview

This feature makes it easy to send and receive faxes, scan documents and images, and share those items with others-right from your computer. Windows Fax and Scan offers several preset categories and folders to help you organize your faxes and scanned documents more easily, and it enables you to create customized folders. In addition, Windows Fax and Scan supports multiple user accounts on the same computer. This is particularly useful for small businesses that have several employees sharing a single computer.


System Requirements

Windows Vista Business, Enterprise, Ultimate, or Server 2008, phone line and modem with fax capabilities.
