Overview

wbengine.exe This service backs up your PC at the block level and not file by file. This essentially means creating an image of the drive. This service is part of Vista's drive backup capability. This feature is only available in Vista Business, Enterprise, and Ultimate and is set to manual. There is no performance gain by disabling this service. Basic and Home Vista users can use a third party backup application to achieve the same function.
