Let me set the scenario: You just got a new Windows 8 PC. Or you wiped your current one. Or you have another PC. Or many, many other scenarios from now, we finally triggered the right one. In any case, you want to quickly install the same set of apps on this PC.

You can do all this and more in the Windows 8 Store without much trouble – just right-click on the page, or swipe down from the top to pull up the menu, choose Your apps, and then filter by “Apps not installed on this PC”, or even “Apps installed on some other PC”.

Now you can select multiple apps, or use the Select all button at the bottom, and then click the Install button.

Now if there were just more and better apps in the Windows 8 store, you’d be all set.
