When the Modern Xbox Music app shipped with Windows 8 there was no way to import your music from iTunes seamlessly. This has changed in the latest release with the added support for playlists.
Import a Playlist Into the Xbox Music App
The first thing you need to do is make sure that you have the latest Music app updates installed from the Windows Store. Then you can go ahead and launch the app itself.
Now you will need to scroll all the way to the left and select the “my music” section.
Here you will see a bunch of options on the left hand side, select the “playlist” option.
On the right hand side you will see a link to import existing playlists, click on it.
Unfortunately it only searches for playlists in the Music library, buts that’s good enough for us. So go ahead and click on the Import playlists button.
That’s all there is to it.
