How to Force-Close a Running iPhone or iPad App
Is your iPhone or iPad App locking up or acting weird? You can force it to close by double-clicking the Home button until the app switcher appears at the bottom of the screen. Then hold down your finger on the icon for the app you want to close, and then click the Minus symbol.
