Ease of Use

The entire user interface is wizard driven making it extremely easy to use. Here we will take a look at recording the audio from a YouTube video.  You need to have the media you want to record going before opening the recorder. Once the audio is playing just click on the Record button.

While the audio records a timer is displayed so you can monitor how long the recording is taking place.

When you’re done just click on the Stop button.

You can enter in the track information.

After a track is recorded you can play it back through the recorder.

Right click on a track to add it to your favorite music player.

Performance

We ran this on a Windows 7 machine with an Intel Core2 Duo processor and 4 GB of RAM. It takes up very few resources and audio recordings sounded as good as the original streaming.

Conclusion

We were able to record audio from several different sources online and made a nice library of recorded audio. The ability to use different audio formats is a definite plus. One thing I would like to see is a better scheduling system so you could set it to record at different times throughout the day. If you’re listening to a live streaming broadcast it’s nice to be able to record the content. They offer a 7 day trial ans is $29.00 after that and it works on Windows 2000 through Windows 7 32-bit versions.
