If your hard drive is short on space you might want to consider reducing the size of your Recycle Bin. Before starting, I would recommend emptying the bin first. Abans de començar, us recomano buidar la Paperera de primera. (Of course you should verify what you are emptying first.) You may also want to create a Restore Point before applying this or any system changes. (Per descomptat, vostè ha de verificar el que es buida en primer lloc.) Right click on the Recycle Bin icon and select Properties. Feu clic dret sobre la icona de la Paperera de reciclatge i seleccioneu Propietats.

From the Recycle Bin Properties screen you can choose to configure drives independently or Globally by setting the same size for all drives. Here you can also choose to remove files immediately and not put them in the Recycle Bin at all. In this instance since I have multiple drives of various sizes I will choose to configure each drive separately. En aquest cas, ja que tinc diverses unitats de diferents mides, vaig a escollir per a configurar cada disc per separat. Just select the tab for each drive and move the slider to accommodate the percentage of space you wish to use. Només has de seleccionar la pestanya de cada unitat i moveu el regulador per acomodar el percentatge d'espai que voleu utilitzar.

Once you have finished resizing click Apply and OK. Un cop hagueu acabat de canviar la mida feu clic a Aplicar i Acceptar.

The size you choose is user specific. La mida que trieu és usuari específic. You may want to increase the size of the Recycle Bin or turn it off completely. És possible que vulgueu augmentar la mida de la Paperera de reciclatge o apagar completament.

At work you might want to leave the settings as they are in case you unintentionally recycle an important report your boss needs 5 months later. En el treball podeu deixar la configuració com en el cas que accidentalment reciclar un important informe del seu cap necessita 5 mesos més tard. The nice thing is that if your file is still in the Recycle Bin you can easily restore it. El millor és que si l'arxiu es troba encara en la paperera de reciclatge és fàcil restaurar.
