For those times when Windows completely freezes and you can't even open the start menu, you can also restart your computer from Task Manager instead of just powering the machine off. Thanks for your quick reply, but after trying some things I have come to the conclusion that the example shown in the How to Geek Quick Tip regarding this subject only applies to XP Task Manager and not to Vista´s task manager. Zahvaljujemo se vam za hiter odgovor, vendar je po poskusu nekaj stvari, sem prišla do zaključka, da na primer, prikazani v Kako Geek Quick Nasvet v zvezi s tem velja le za XP penzum šef, in ne za nalogo Vista's manager. I guess that´sa plus for the XP OS, and for us Vista users another out of luck situation. Mislim, da to 'plus za OS XP, in za nas uporabnike še razgled iz stanja sreče.

I have Vista – Business installed on my Toshiba laptop and I don´t have the SP1 installed as of yet since I am waiting to install it when it becomes public I understand early next month. For Shut Down to appear on the task manager you will need to have the Welcome Screen enabled for logging in … Also, if you are logging on to a domain more than likely it will not appear … unless your system administrator allows for it. Za Shut Down se bodo pojavili na penzum šef morate imeti omogočen za dobrodošlico zaslon prijavi ... i have windows vista and used task manager to end a few backround processes to make another program run better and now i cannot remember whether the instructions were to restart the computer so that the backround processes will still be in tact or if i should shut it down and restart???? imam okno razgled in uporabljeni manager naloga za konec nekaj tajni oddelek ali laboratorij postopke, da bi drug program teči bolje in zdaj ne morem spomniti, ali so navodila za ponovno zagnati računalnik, tako da bo tajni oddelek ali laboratorij procesi še vedno v tact ali če bi jaz zaustaviti in ponovno zagnati?? help please….. pomoč prosim ... ..
ya. ya. it doesnt work on vista. to doesnt opus naprej razgled. though if u press crtrl alt delete, u could log off from there. čeprav če u pritisnite crtrl alt zbrisati, lahko u se odjavite od tam. that might work though it would be much easier if u can do it directly from windows task manager da bi delo, čeprav bi bilo veliko lažje, če u moči delati to neposredno iz okno penzum šef
Just make a batch file on your desktop with contents: Samo da paketna datoteka na namizju z vsebino:
shutdown -r -t 00 shutdown-r-t 00
and run it to restart your pc. ter prost dostop to, da ponovno zagnati pc. Alternatively, if you want to shut down, replace “-r” with “-s”. Alternativno, če želite zapreti, namesto "-r" s "-s".
For n00bs: a batch file is just a text file with .bat extension which makes it executable. Za n00bs: batch pila je samo tekst pila s. Bat podaljšanje zaradi česar je izvršljiv.

Thank you for the wonderful tip. Hvala za čudovit odlagališče. however I could find this options( Shut down tab ) in the Task managers in other pc's ( with XP) . Vendar pa lahko najdem te možnosti (Ugasnite zavihek) v vodje projektne skupine v drugih pc's (z XP). Does that mean its disabled , if so how do enable this . Ali to pomeni, da svoje invalidne osebe, če je tako kako to omogočiti.

Sorry a bit correction, I meant I could not find the option (Shut Down ) in other XP PC'c . Žal nam je malo popravkov, sem mislila nisem mogel najti možnosti (Zaustavitev sistema), v drugih PC'c XP.

If you have vista click on 'file,' 'new task (run)' and type shutdown /t 1 /s which shutsdown windows with a timeout of 1. Če imate razgled kliknite na 'file', 'novo nalogo (prost dostop) in tip shutdown / t 1 / s, ki shutsdown okna z timeout 1. Use /f to force running apps to close. Uporaba / f na silo tekmovanje v teku apps zapreti.
