		<description>Actually you can often simply keep the cursor on the log name and press the F5 key and it will typically open it.  Microsoft has a KB article about it being corrupt but I&#039;ve found the F5 refresh key often will allow it to open correctly.  Reboots, restart of Event Viewer as you say doesn&#039;t fix it.</description>
