If you've started noticing that your sound is disabled in Windows Vista after you wake your computer from Sleep mode or hibernate, then you are in luck, because Microsoft has a hotfix for this issue. If you are experiencing this problem, you'll probably notice a red X on the volume icon in the system tray, and a message when you hover over it that says “No Audio Output Device is installed”. Does this hotfix also work for XP? Ali je ta hitri popravek, prav tako delo za XP? I've noticed that the sound sometimes becomes disabled after my HTPC returns from sleep mode. Sem opazil, da zvok včasih postane invalidov po mojem HTPC vrne iz stanja mirovanja.

This have not worked for me. To niso delali za mene. I have a new Asus laptop with Vista Premium preinstalled. Imam nov laptop Asus z Vista Premium preinstalled.
I can restore the sound with a little trick I've found: Lahko obnovite zvok z malo trik, sem ugotovila:
Rigth click on the speaker icon on the tray and choose “Recording devices” or something like that (my Windows is in spanish). Rigth kliknite na zvočnik ikono na pladnju in izberite "snemanje naprav" ali nekaj podobnega (moje okno je v španski). A window will then open and the sound is restored. Okno se bo odprl in zvok je obnovljena. That's it! To je to!

the fix doesnt work with my vista system. delo doesnt pritrditi s svoj razgled sistem. it says software does not apply to your system. piše programska oprema ne uporablja za vaš sistem. what the hell? Kaj za vraga? any ideas? any ideas?

I've got an asus running vista too same problem, good trick to get it working again. Imam asus tekmovanje v teku razgled tudi isti problem, dobra ukana zadobiti to ki dela še. Just sucks with wmCenter when it comes back from standby no sound. Samo s wmCenter je zanič, ko se vrne iz stanja pripravljenosti brez zvoka. You would think that would be a big thing and that either Asus or microsoft would fix it straight away. Ti bi mislim, da bi bila velika stvar, in da bi bodisi Asus ali mikroskop popraviti takoj.

What is going on , this doesnt wok on mine either. Kaj se dogaja, to doesnt vok na mine niti. This problem is posted all over the internet, u'd think someone would have some sort of solution for it!!!!! Ta problem je napoten po vsem internetu, u'd nekdo bi neke vrste rešitev za to !!!!!
I have new Asus G1S-B2 laptop and this solution not working for me. Imam novi Asus G1S-B2 laptop in ta rešitev ne delajo za mene. I can restore the sound with a little trick I've found: left click on the speaker icon in the tray and chenge sound volume to 0 and then to previous level. Lahko obnovite zvok z malo trik, sem našel: levi klik na ikono zvočnika v pladenj in chenge zvoka na 0 in nato na prejšnjo raven. This problem is posted on a vast number of forums over the internet for many vendors, not only for Asus. Ta problem je objavljen na veliko število forumov, prek interneta za številne prodajalce, ne samo za Asus.
I have a Vaio laptop running Vista and this solution didn't work for me either. Imam prenosnik Vaio teče Vista in ta rešitev ne opus navzlic vsak izmed obeh. I get “software does not apply to your system…”. Dobim "programske opreme ne uporablja za vaš sistem ...". I have tried the work-arounds as well and they were all fruitless……….fruitless! Imam preizkušen dela arounds kot dobro in so bile vse zaman ... ... .... Zaman!

I installed the fix on my Toshiba A215… it solved the issue for 3 days… Jaz umestiti naprej svoj pritrditi Toshiba A215 ... je rešil vprašanje za 3 dni ...
problem is back… but now, my toolbars disappear after computer wakes up from sleep… my start menu is blank. problem je nazaj ... ampak zdaj, moj orodne vrstice izginejo, ko računalnik zbudi iz spanja ... moj začetek jedilnik je prazen.
it all works fine after i restart. vse tovarna lep i po vnovičnem zagonu.
