Ubuntu automatically starts playing audio or video discs when you put them into your computer. Ubuntu ay awtomatikong magsisimula sa play ng audio o video discs kapag inilagay ang mga ito sa inyong computer. If you don't want this behavior, you can easily turn this off. Here you can just uncheck the box for the disc type you don't want to autoplay. Dito maaari ka na lamang ng tsek ang kahon para sa disc uri ng hindi mo nais na autoplay.
You can also disable autoplaying of portable media players such as an iPod. Maaari mo ring i-disable autoplaying ng portable manlalaro ng media tulad ng isang iPod.

What I mean by “The Windows Way” is – we get help how to use menus?!? Ano ang ibig sabihin ko sa pamamagitan ng "Ang Windows Way" ay - humanap ng tulong namin kung paano gamitin ang menu?!? Well … the menu doesn't exist in Hardy Heron (Ubuntu 8.04) anymore – anyway, anyone can use menus – give us some background information! Well ... ang menu ay hindi na umiiral sa Hardy Heron (Ubuntu 8.04) anymore - anyway, kahit sino ay maaaring gumamit ng mga menu - ibigay sa amin ang ilang mga impormasyon sa background! Which gconf-entries or files do we need to edit/creat/delete to make the system work to our specifications!?! Aling gconf-entries o file na kailangan naming i-edit / creat / burahin ang gumawa ng sistema ang trabaho sa aming mga detalye!?!

It suggests changing the following entry (eg via gconf-editor) : Ito ay nagpapahiwatig ng pagpapalit sa mga sumusunod na entry (hal. sa pamamagitan ng gconf-editor):
/desktop/gnome/volume_manager/autoplay_dvd_command / desktop / lamanlupa / volume_manager / autoplay_dvd_command
But – with just logging out and in again in my Gnome – this didn't do the trick for me :-/ Subalit - sa pamamagitan lamang ng pag-log out at sa muli sa aking mga lamang-lupa - ito ay hindi gawin ang bilis ng kamay para sa akin: - /

In Hardy Heron (Ubuntu 8.04) these settings can be found in the Nautilus file browser under Edit->Preferences->Media. Sa Hardy Heron (Ubuntu 8.04) mga setting na ito ay matatagpuan sa karakol browser ang file sa ilalim ng I-edit-> Preferences-> Media.
