If you've been using the default movie player in Ubuntu to play videos, you might have noticed that there's no way in the application to clear the recent history of watched movies. Turns out, almost all of the applications in Gnome store their history in the same place, and it can be cleared by clearing the recent documents on the Gnome menu.    To disable this for good empty your recent documents and change your .recently-used file to be read only Upang hindi paganahin ito para sa mahusay na walang laman ang iyong mga kamakailan-lamang na mga dokumento at baguhin ang inyong. Kamakailan-lamang na-file na ginamit upang basahin lamang

   chmod 400 $HOME/.recently-used chmod 400 $ HOME / .recently-ginamit

   to revert manumbalik

   chmod 600 $HOME/.recently-used chmod 600 $ HOME / .recently-ginamit

   In case you're not using GNOME or just because such information might sometimes be valuable: Totem's history and quite a few other items can be located also in a file called Kung sakaling kayo ay hindi gumagamit ng lamang-lupa o dahilan lamang na tulad ng impormasyon ay maaaring paminsan-minsan ay mahalaga: totem ng kasaysayan at ganap ng ilang mga iba pang bagay na maaaring matatagpuan din sa isang file na tinatawag na

   .recently-used.xbel . kamakailan-used.xbel

   and not in .recently-used. at hindi sa. kamakailan-ginagamit.
