How-To Geek
Friday Fun: Retro Nintendo Wallpapers
I received so many emails about the Super Mario Bros wallpaper on my screen in the Outlook Desktop article that I figured I’d share the wealth with everybody.
I got the wallpaper from a great site named Desktop Gaming, where people take screenshots of old games from various systems and then spice them up a bit, mostly by adding gradients to make them look good on today’s large screens.
Here’s a few of my favorites…

Super Mario Bros 2 – Dual Monitor Size

Super Mario Bros 3 (personal favorite)
Definitely worth a look, there’s a ton of screenshots on the list in all different sizes.

Great link, thanks!
I thought this was really great!
Hi,
I love these wallpapers.
However, the website is not available anymore.
The domain desktopgaming.com has expired. Please contact your domain name registration service provider for further assistance. If you need help identifying your service provider, visit http://domainhelp.tucows.com.
Anyone can send it to me? sheeeng (at) gmail dot com
Thanks in advance.
I’m not sure what happened to this domain… I’ve tried to get in touch with the person who owns it, but I can’t seem to figure out who that is.
Love the mario wallpapers! I had to crop though to make it look just right on my monitors. I use Display Fusion as I am running dual 19″ widescreen monitors. I also wanted the characters to be larger so I got rid of a good chunk of the sky.
Thanks for the link, great wallpaper!
