Creating a FavIcon the Easy Way Vytvorenie FavIcon Easy Way
I recently decided to update the FavIcon for this site (the little icon in the address bar). Nedávno som sa rozhodol aktualizovať FavIcon na túto stránku (malá ikona v adresnom riadku). The old one was something I'd hacked together myself in visual studio, and just didn't seem friendly enough for me. Staré bolo niečo, čo by som ja sám prenikol spolu s Visual Studio a jednoducho nezdalo priateľské mi stačí.
There's a number of online generators that create the icons for you from a picture, and they really seem to do a great job while keeping everything extremely easy. Existuje množstvo on-line generátory, ktoré vytvárajú ikony pre vás z obrázku, a oni naozaj zdá, že robiť dobrú prácu a pritom udržiavať všetko veľmi jednoduché.

First find a picture that is similar to what you'd like the icon to look like: Prvá nájsť obrázok, ktorý je podobný tomu, čo ste chceli ikona vyzerať:
Just choose the file and then click the Generate button, and you'll see the new icon exactly as it will look in the address bar. Stačí vybrať súbor a kliknite na tlačidlo Generovať a uvidíte novú ikonu presne tak, ako to bude vyzerať v adresou.
I used the icon but ended up cleaning it up a bit in an image editing application. Použil som na ikonu, ale nakoniec upratovanie to trochu v aplikácii pre úpravu obrázkov.

Just choose the picture, click the Create Icon button, and see the preview. Stačí si vybrať obrázok, kliknite na tlačidlo Vytvoriť ikonu, a vidieť v náhľade.
The only problem you might notice is that usually your icons will end up with a color background even though you might prefer they have transparency. Jediný problém, si môžete všimnúť, je, že zvyčajne svoje ikony skončí s farbou pozadia, aj keď vám dá prednosť majú transparentnosť.
Installing your FavIcon Inštalácia si FavIcon
Once you have the icon file, you can save it somewhere on your website. Akonáhle budete mať ikonu súboru, môžete ho uložiť niekde na vašich webových stránkach. Good catch on the related posts… I think the problem is that I've not written very much on this particular topic, so the related content generator just “gives up” and links to whatever has a few of the same words. I always appreciate a good favicon. Vždy som si oceniť dobrú favicon.
