Use "Find As You Type" Search in Visual Studio 2005 Izmantošana "Find As You Type" Search in Visual Studio 2005

Visual Studio 2005 includes a great feature that they call Incremental Search, but I like to call “find as you type”, because that's really what it does. Visual Studio 2005 ietilpst liela iespēja, ka tie Incremental Search, bet man patīk zvans "atrast, kā jūs tips", jo tas ir patiešām to, ko tā dara.

To start using this feature, just hit Ctrl + i once, and you will see the cursor change to an arrow with binoculars. Lai sāktu izmantot šo funkciju, vienkārši hit Ctrl + i vienu reizi, un jūs redzēsiet kursoru izmaiņas bulta ar binokļi. At this point, you can just start typing, and Visual Studio will automatically start finding. Šajā brīdī jūs varat sākt rakstīt, un Visual Studio automātiski sāks konstatācija.

It's tough to show this off in a screenshot, but here's the basic idea: Tas ir grūts, lai pierādītu šo off in screenshot, bet šeit ir pamata ideja:

To start an “Incremental Search” you just hit Ctrl + i, but there's more keys that work with this: Lai sāktu "Papildu Search" tikko hit Ctrl + i, bet tur ir daudz taustiņi, kas strādā ar šo:

  • Ctrl + i – Start Incremental Search \ Find Next Instance Ctrl + i - Start Incremental Meklēšana \ Find Next instances
  • Ctrl + Shift + i – Find Previous Instance Ctrl + Shift + i - Find Iepriekšējais instances
  • Esc – Cancel Search Esc - Atcelt Meklēt
  • Backspace – Works just like you'd expect. Backspace - Darbi, tāpat kā jūs gaidījāt.

This is a heck of a lot more quick than using the normal file search dialog. Tas ir heck ir daudz vairāk ātri nekā izmantojot parasto failu meklēšana dialog.

You can do the same thing in VS.NET 2003 as well. Tu vari darīt pats 2003 VS.NET kā labi. No searching backwards though. Neviens meklēšanas atpakaļ though.

Thanks for putting this together! Paldies par kuru šis kopā! I am actually working on an extensive presentation on the search features in Visual Studio IDE for both 2005 and 2008 and this reminded me of a feature i almost forgot about. Es esmu patiešām strādā plaša prezentāciju par meklēšanas iespējām, izmantojot Visual Studio IDE, lai gan 2005 un 2008, un tas man atgādināja iezīme es gandrīz aizmirsu par.

I'm such a ctrl-f addict but as of recently i am trying to break the addiction and use the enhanced options available. Es, piemēram ctrl-f atkarīgais bet nesen es cenšos pauze atkarību un izmantot ciešākas iespējām.

This reminds me of VI editor. Tas man atgādina VI editor. A forward slash “/” would be more helpful however in VS environment it can not be implemented. Slīpsvītra "/" būtu lietderīgi tomēr, VS vidē to nevar īstenot.
