Change the Default Font in Excel 2007 Ändra standardteckensnitt i Excel 2007
Excel 2007 uses the very nice Calibri font by default in Windows Vista, but if you'd like to use a different font or change the default size, you can easily adjust the setting in the Excel options screen. Excel 2007 används den mycket trevliga Calibri teckensnitt som standard i Windows Vista, men om du vill använda ett annat teckensnitt eller ändra storleken, kan du enkelt justera inställningarna i Excel-alternativ skärm.
First click on the Office Button and choose Excel Options in the lower right hand corner of the resulting menu. Först klicka på Office-knappen och välj Excel-alternativ i det nedre högra hörnet i menyn som visas.
Select the Popular tab on the left, and then in the middle of this window you can change the default font using the selection. Markera Popular fliken till vänster, och sedan i mitten av detta fönster kan du ändra standardteckensnitt med valet.
Now when you create a new worksheet, you'll see that the font is set automatically to your new selection. Nu när du skapar ett nytt kalkylblad, ser du att teckensnittet ställs automatiskt in på ditt nya val.
You can always change the font using the Ribbon as well, but it's only active for the current worksheet. Du kan alltid ändra teckensnitt med menyfliksområdet också, men det är bara aktiv om det aktuella kalkylbladet.

That didn't work for me. Det fungerade inte för mig. Made changes, closed Excel, re-opened and it was back to Clalibri and 11. Ändringar som gjorts stängt Excel, upp igen och det var tillbaka till Clalibri och 11.

Regarding changing the font, I just discovered that, after selecting the font that I want, I had to click on the 'OK' button at the bottom. The button was hidden by the taskbar at the bottom and I couldn't see it. Knappen var dold av aktivitetsfältet längst ner och jag kunde inte se det.
By right clicking on the taskbar and then unchecking 'Lock the Taskbar' the OK button was visible. Genom att högerklicka i Aktivitetsfältet och sedan avmarkera "Lås Aktivitetsfältet" OK syntes.

The problem still exist, its just a very simple steps but everytime I restart a new Excel, it still defaulted to Arial but if I open the excel options it is already on the desired font. Problemet kvarstår, har bara en mycket enkel steg men varje gång jag startar ett nytt Excel det fortfarande standard Arial men om jag öppnar Excel-alternativ det redan på önskat teckensnitt. I rebooted my whole pc, still same problem. Jag rebooted hela min pc, fortfarande samma problem.
please help… not sure what david prejan is referring to regarding OK button being hidden. behag hjälpa mig ... inte säker på vad David prejan syftar på om OK-knappen är dold. once you click the office button, the OK button is available already. I appreciate the help, but as some of the others, changing the font in the word options area does not work for me also. This works for setting the default font for the spread sheet but it does NOT affect charts which continue to default to Calibri. Detta fungerar för inställning standardteckensnitt för arket men det påverkar inte diagram som fortfarande standard Calibri.

i'd like to automatically open a blank excel worksheet formatted to 2 decimal places “(,) style” everytime I open excel or a new worksheet. Jag skulle vilja att automatiskt öppna ett tomt kalkylblad i Excel formateras till 2 decimaler "(,) style" varje gång jag öppnar Excel eller ett nytt kalkylblad.
