The default action for searching with the Firefox toolbar is to open the search in the current tab. Privzeto dejanje za iskanje z orodno vrstico za Firefox je odprt iskanje v trenutni zavihek. This drives me crazy, but thankfully it's easy to fix. To me vozi noro, ampak na srečo je enostavno popraviti.

changing about:config doesn't seem to work. spreminjanje about: config ne zdi, da dela. results still display in the present window. Rezultati so še vedno prikaže v tem oknu. even tried restarting firefox. sod preizkušen zopet začeti kresnica.
Or more simply, just use Alt-Enter and that will open results in a new tab Ali bolj preprosto, enostavno uporabite Alt-Enter, in da bo odprla rezultati v novem zavihku

The Alt+Enter tip was the very first one in the list… =) Alt + Enter tip je bil zelo prvi na seznamu ... =)
i prefer to middle click on the magnifying glass when i want the results in a new tab. jaz raje srednji kliknite na povečevalno steklo, kadar hočem rezultate v novem zavihku. great tip though. Čeprav velik odlagališče.

Alt-enter. Alt-enter. That's no doubt the easiest way. To je brez dvoma najlažji način. BTW, this also works in IE7 (not that I use it…. ughhh) BTW, tudi ta deluje v IE7 (ne da jaz raba to .... Ughhh)

ugh, I've had this feature from tabmixplus for so long and it drove me crazy. Uh, sem imel to funkcijo od tabmixplus tako dolgo in jo odpeljal me noro. I finally put it back to default. Končno sem dal nazaj na privzeto. Alt Enter or alt click is the best way if you do want to open the link in a new tab Alt Enter ali kliknite alt je najboljši način, če ne želite odpreti povezavo v novem zavihku

is there any way to make firefox open a new window when pressing enter on the address bar ? je torej vsekakor, da firefox odpreti novo okno, ko pritiskom vstopijo na naslovni vrstici?
without pressing alt+enter…? brez pritiskom na alt + vstop ...?
this is a really annoying issue , and i havent found a solution for it yet… to je zelo nadležno težavo, in jaz pristanišče najti rešitev za to še ...

The browser.search.openintab fix seems to be written up backwards. Browser.search.openintab določi Zdi se, da vnesejo nazaj. I set it to “true” on my computer, and it still opens searches in the same tab. Sem jo nastavite na "true" na svoj računalnik in ga še vedno išče odpre v istem zavihku. Set to “false”, searches open in a new tab, which is what I want! Set to "false", iskanje odpre v novem zavihku, ki je, kar hočem!
