Hey Owen I have Vista and I have Firefox as default browser, yet the quick search still opens in IE. Hey Owen Mayroon akong Vista at ako ang Firefox bilang aking default browser, pa ang mabilis na paghahanap pa rin bubukas sa IE. Spent about 30 min. Nagastos tungkol sa 30 min. trying to find a fix no success. sinusubukang makahanap ng maayos na walang tagumpay. I will post this in forums as well. Ko ang post na ito sa forums pati na rin. IE retains .url and 2 other extensions as well, but I cannot uncheck those boxes. Taglay ng IE. Url at iba pang 2 extension na rin, ngunit hindi ko maaaring alisin ang tsek ang mga kahon. BTW The correct fix for this in Vista is to go to Control Panel > Default Programs > Set Program Access and Defaults > Custom > Choose a Default Web Browser then choose Mozilla Firefox. BTW Ang tama para ayusin ito sa Vista ay upang pumunta sa Control Panel> Default na mga Programa> Itakda Program Access at Default> Custom> Pumili ng isang Default Web Browser pagkatapos ay piliin ang Mozilla Firefox. While I haven't checked to see if this fix holds after reboot it is the only way I have gotten the quick search in Google Desktop to open in Firefox.
