Have you ever tried to email or IM somebody a link from a site that has ridiculously long URLs, only to have the link break because it was too long or got cut off? If you find yourself using this feature all the time, then you need the TinyUrl Creator extension for Firefox, which makes it very easy to not only create TinyUrls, but access the ones that you've already created. Nice add on, but the “Saved” feature is silly. Nice add on, men "Saved" huvudnummer är dumt.
We don't need another place to save links on top of bookmarks and Delicious and such. Vi behöver inte en annan plats att spara länkarna på toppen av bokmärken och Delicious och sådant.

I agree, it does duplicate that functionality somewhat… I think the reasoning behind it is that you probably already have a bookmark to the real page, so bookmarking the TinyUrl link as well would give you duplicate bookmarks. Wonderful addition. Utmärkt komplement. I've been using a bookmarklet, but this is way better — I have to manually copy the TinyURL from the bookmarklet-loaded page to the clipboard in order to use it, but this copies it for me.
