It addresses the two most fundamental flaws that the Akismet folks due to laziness, lack of foresight, or apathy refuse to address. I like that your plugin is so simple and it certainly is effective. Control over the wordlist and link length from the Wordpress interface would be nice, but it still gets the job done. I would also like to see more advanced filtering logic like having the word list automatically adjust based on words in the post (for example, if I'm talking about mortgges in my post, it shouldn't be a bad word in the filter list anymore). If I get bored, I might make the modifications myself and let you know, but until then, I wanted you to know that I posted your filter as the second half of the best two plugins to handle spam.
