How-To Geek
Add a Quick Restart Function to Firefox
Are you frustrated with having no quick and easy way to restart Firefox after modifying the about:config settings or a similar action? Now you can with a little bit of extension magic.
After Installing the Extension
Installing the QuickRestart extension is straightforward with no options to worry about. So, what do you get with the extension? Three quick and easy ways to restart Firefox. The first two are shown in the “File Menu”…a menu command that you can select and the appropriate keyboard command “Ctrl+Alt+R”.

If you prefer to keep your “Menu Toolbar” hidden then you can use the toolbar button for QuickRestart instead. “Right Click” on one of your toolbars and select “Customize…” to open the “Customize Toolbar Window”. The toolbar button will most likely be located at or near the bottom…place it in a location that best suits your needs.

One wonderful little button to make your life a lot easier.

Conclusion
If you are tired of having to restart Firefox the traditional way, then QuickRestart is an extension that you will not want to ever be without.

I’ve been using this extension for quite some time and it’s great. It works as it should and does not cause any issues. The developer is even prompt to respond to emails.
