What would be the best procedure if I wanted to replace my 80gb (upgraded to 320gb) fat ps3 with a 120gb slim ps3, but use the 320gb hard drive i’ve been using in my fat in my new slim?
Hope that makes sense!
@floydant your best option would be a backup and restore. You will have to backup the original 320 hard drive in the fat ps3 to an external hard drive (formatted in fat32), then install the 320 hard drive in the new slim system, and then do a restore to the new slim ps3 with 320 gb hard drive installed.
Why in the heck would anyone buy a PS3 these days? Sony has got to be the most evil company on the planet and their customer service is non-existent. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.
Thanks for that Justin, I was pretty sure that was right, didn’t want get it wrong and lose everything though!
