Ahahah nice comment Groff xD
That’s not too far off. Ever go to a restaurant, especially fast food restaurants, when their registers (which are computers) are down? They can’t do business until the computers are back up.
If computers ran web servers, How To Geek Would exist. Wait, that already happened?!?
…or even worse, you could get “infected by a virus” :) Glad they aren’t serving !
I happened to be ordering lunch when the place’s computers went down and they gave it to me for free. :)
Groff’s comment was worth the click.
If this happens in real life, expect to see people dying from the Conficker worm while corrupting their minds.
Also, do not forget to expect some BSODs!
Yea, but the food wouldn’t have spit in it or droped on the floor by accident, and the order would be taken on touch-screens/voice recognition(thx 2 google!) so it would not be incorrect when delivered- and much quicker! I’v actually thought about mechanized food preparation for a while now, cuz im that weird.
Heck, that’s true now. Restaurants and fast food joints shut down if the registers go down.
I may or may not have figured out how to crash the registers at work (which may have been conveniant when I wanted a break :D) /stupid things were just shells running of the main computer/server in the office so if you pressed the 2 and “enter” keys at the same time it froze the whole thing (hunk of junk XD)
