Fixing people’s computers usually makes them appreciate you more, though this might be a little too far.
Lowell Heddings, better known online as the How-To Geek, spends all his free time bringing you fresh geekery on a daily basis. You can follow him on Google+ if you'd like.

I repair most of my friends & families pc’s when they screw up but I need to be the one with the gun.
Its always ‘I didn’t install that’ Usually its the ‘click happy’ ones who claim that ;-)
Epic! Nice share. :D
I’m the family geek with seven different computers to unscramble, and most of my elders are lucky if they can find the ‘ANY’ button.
I’m desperately needed about once a week to sort out the mess.
I don’t holler, scream, call anyone names or throw things. I just smiles and takes my time and make them feed me..
The scene is true and everywhere. A nice expression indeed.
How-To Geek :)
Cavern, I hate the ones who say, “It was working fine ’til you worked on it…” conveniently forgetting I had to work on it for 3 days straight to recover the files corrupted/lost/lockedaway/deleted/etc due to their having mis-clicked/pr0nsurfed/phish-failed/etc.
good comic . . . the best

I’m not as well up with it as most you people but I manage and the antics some of those I try to help

He’s holding the rifle upside-down, and I can’t tell whether that’s supposed to reflect the character’s lack of knowledge, or the artist’s.
I had a scenario where I was running a command line prompt using CMD to take off a trojan virus, well my blonde european girl that’s a friend was so turned on by my genius skills she then proceeded to take off her ……..
I fixed her laptop, and her as well .

Why do woman love a geek?,,,who cares….if u can fix a computer, fornicate ,get fed, and paid …all in a 3 hour span….ur a great technician…
gyffes and Drecked have hit the nail on the head.
I know just enough to make me dangerous to any OS but I do manage to fix most of the computers that come to me. Sometimes (many times) my friendly geek has to come and show me the right path.
What erks me most is the ones that tried to fix the problem and say they didn’t. This would be no problem if I really knew what I was doing but it sure helps me learn. lol.
Here’s a good one, The lady next door says ” I don’t know what you done to my computer but it’s slow and don’t work properly” I look at it and the antivirus is seven months out of date. Hahaha Seven months since I cleaned it up for her and it’s still my fault. Before that she uninstalled the antivirus because somebody told her it was no good. I don’t get mad but it sure makes me wonder.
This is a ^&*&*( nature of most of the people. They dont pay, they stalk you to get it repaired, they call you up every now and then to get things done quickly…. and sometimes it crosses the limit ..they call you up fix their gf’s computer, her friends uncle computer , his neighbor’s niece laptop … AND if they screw it up … ITS ALL YOU FAULT !!!!

Earlier I use to do it for free but since i started taking money (Be it be 2 cans of beer or a pack of fags) they now use the system after repair more wisely and don’t irritate much…. now its better ….
