Awesome ..
Just one suggestion in main desktop screenshot the icon for Asian Angel is not looking good instead of it if you use Karen.ico from Frosty the Snowman 1.0 pack it would be Beautiful . :) ;)
Now I wish it was snowing here, which is never (god damn desert).
Question: after you download an icon pack, where does it go? I’m using Firefox and Windows 7, and I think it went somewhere in a Firefox folder (extensions?), but can’t find it when I’m going through the Change Icon process and browsing files. I should have paid better attention. Does anyone know what the default location is? I checked my download folder and it isn’t there. Love the Christmas icons and would like to get them on my computer.
@Kathy – Here is a trick that I have used before to find out where a download “disappeared” to. Try downloading the file again but stop as soon as the “Save As” location is displayed. ^_^ It may also be a matter of Firefox “asking” a file zipping utility to open the file upon download instead of saving it. When the Save Window appears make sure that it is set to saving instead of opening. ^_^ I have been caught on the difference between a zip and rar file on this before too (until the I got the settings sorted out on a fresh portable Firefox install). ^_^
@Asian Angel – Thank you! My desktop is now quite merry. Realized I actually downloaded a toolbar not the Standard Christmas icons themselves. (Blindly followed the big “Download Now” buttons when looking at Christmas icons.) Any guidance on how to delete unwanted toolbars and any associated programs that came with them? I don’t see them in my Downloads folder, or in the Applications list. I want to delete the toolbar and any associated software that came with it completely.
@Kathy – To remove those toolbars go to your Control Panel and look for “Programs -> Uninstall a program”. From there you can find the toolbars by scrolling through the software listed and uninstall them. ^_^
