Try this Internet Radio Player.
Thousands of stations for you and free and pay skins. Try the free skin – Blue-harc. Very nice.
http://www.radiosure.com/ for download.
Here’s some features from their website. This a freeware app.
The “RadioSure” gives you the smoothest radio listening expirience. The main rule is – it should be simple, reliable and should just work.
Main features are:
More than 12000 of stations in the package
Supports most of the internet radio formats – mp3, wma, ogg vorbis, aac+ and so on
Quick and reliable search for your favorite radio stations
Smooth switching between stations including crossfade effect
Recording what you are listening to and packaging it into separate song files
Simultanious recording of multiple stations
Automatic checking for software and radio stations updates
Command line parametes for automatization
Runs on Windows XP and Vista 32 and 64 bit
UNICODE support – all domestic stations are perfectly visible and searchable
and much much more…
Did you try any of these. I downloaded the iTunes gadget and it doesn’t look anything like the picture above and it does open iTunes when I press play. It must be a different one. I couldn’t find one in the gallery that looks like the one you describe.
I forgot to mention that Pandora has a great Sidebar App. I use it detached from the sidebar and it allows you to rate songs and see what’s played. Sometimes the mini-player window doesn’t display exactly what it should (just the songs and stations), but it generally works great.
@Da5id:
Thanks for pointing out my error. It is actually called iTunes Accessory and can be downloaded at

It has also been changed in the post.
Pretty sweet. Thanks.
I agree on that pandora sidebar app. I use that on my laptop all the time. I like the rating feature.
This one is the best I’ve found:

What about the winamp gadget … works great with winamp … and its simple and easy to use
Jobee is one of the best world/variety players out there that i’ve found.
installed radio sure, wow finally a radio that does just what it is suppose to do . nothing fancy it just plays high quailty sounding music / talk radio with a selection of twelve hundred stations.
thank you dave
很好!very good.
I like the media player gadget, but all my media is on a media server and although it picks up all the play lists in the remote library, I cannot play any of the files. :-(
iClassical Radio Player STOPPED WORKING.
Tried resetting Options.
Went to “Add Gadgets” got another one. Always the same: It reads “Ready”, I click “Play”, “Buffering” then resets to “Ready”
NO MUSIC.
NO CHANGES here. NOTHING TO EXPLAIN WHY iClassical Gadget stopped working—NO Error code numbers or messages to guide me.
***HOW*** DO I TROUBLESHOOT THIS ????
Hi,
I’ve been using the WMP gadget for a couple of weeks now and everything was fine, until (not sure if I’m doing anything wrong) I can’t seem to open the library using the ‘Show Library’ button, if I try a single-click, nothing would happen, a double-click would open and close it, and clicking the button, then clicking to the side would open and close it again.
Anybody encountered this?
Real cool thax
for anyone who uses iTunes or WMP I’d recommend getting last.fm’s scrobbler. Recommends music from artists you might like and gives plenty of info about the artist your listening too… provided everything is named correctly in your library.
get it here

@Dave
radiosure does in fact look like a very cool app. but your sentence structure was a little misleading. there are free and paid skins, but the app itself is $9.99/year. kinda helpful to know, lol!
esse e mesmo da hoooora bom de mais……gadgets
I LOVE the Media Player Gadget! ! ! I use it everyday & I love how you don’t have to open up your WMP to use. =-D
Microsoft has stopped supporting Gadgets :( where do we get them from now???
Thank you very much for the post. And that your gadget collection was complete – I recommend Aoo! Player – popular music gadget to listen free music from social network vk.com
