Hi How to Geek, I am getting so many useful tips from your always interesting newsletter. First, your wallpapers above: we don’t all like the violence of such scenes, and prefer nature scenes: there is enough violence in the earth without having to look at it daily on wallpapers. But I have some excellent nature wallpapers from How to, for which I thank you.

What I am particularly interested in, is that you seem to be using a Linux OS (maybe Ubuntu?) along with some Windows OS, which makes a fascinating combination, as used by you, and I am really taken by the nature of your newsletter. I look forward to it as a 73 year old! I hope one day you will tell us how you did it… But I am going to search your website now to see if I can pick up an article on how you managed to create such a good-looking Operating System. I am using Windows 7 Pro but I still have my trusty old XP SP3 on a powerful separate PC in another room, but I cannot get a network going between my 64 bit W7 and 32 bit XP. My youngest son is a Microsoft Certified PC Engineer and he remotely took over my two PCs from London and for 8 hours, over two nights, he laboured at setting up a (cable, 4 plug Modem) network, which he declared was working, but next day I found the two PCs are NOT speaking to each other.

Thank you for your most interesting and well-written and illustrated newsletter. It is truly always a work of art. Best wishes, Bob1001.

I’m disappointed that Aslan wasn’t included in this series of wallpapers; He was the central figure and the whole point of the Chronicles.

I really enjoy the books and am looking forward to the Voyage of the Dawn Treader film next. I really wish that they had started with The Magician’s Nephew though. Thanks for the cool wallpapers How-To Geek!

Personally, I love looking at these Narnia (and all your other) wallpapers. However, if I see some I don’t care for, I simply don’t look at them…L.F. had a good point about Aslan, BTW.

(The trouble with these of Narnia is they put me in the mood to watch it once more, so now I’m going to have to put my disc in tonight and watch Lucy and Mr. Tumnus charm the screen again)

These look like random screen shots from the first movie. A little thought? There’s got to be a better picture of Susan, at least.
