Whenever I install Firefox, I always point the profile directory to a different partition. E.g., if my Windows is in C:, my Firefox profile is in D:\{data}\firefox

If I ever need to do a reinstall, all I have to do is to re-point the profile to the above directory, and voila! everything is back to where it is supposed to be.</description>

		<description>Nice idea, but actually it is pretty easy to set up eg, your Firefox profile in your data drive, where the profile is automatically backed up every time you back up your data.I imagine this approach would be easy enough with the other browsers. I recall that back in the bad old days of IE, it was easy to move your favorites folder to your data drive.
