		<description>The first part of the article works fine.  Clearing items from the history is a piece of cake.

On the other hand, nothing changes when I&#039;ve tried the second half of the article for the address bar stuff.  Expanding the drop-down, highlighting an address and then deleting it only removes the item until I quit and then re-open the expanded menu.

I would like to see an about:config means of preventing the address bar expansion altogether.  Have you any ideas on that?

@kyle and aks-  If you are relying on Firefox to automatically clear your history, cookies and stuff, I hope you have better luck than I have had.</description>
