Hey I was reading another thread about this problem that seems to have been solved already, I tried some of the options but none worked so far. I'm running Windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite L505-S5990 laptop. Could I get those registry files that were talked about?

I restarted my computer since my last post before making any changes and a new message saying "The handle is invalid." showed up right after the first one. I was able to change my power schemes before but now they're all greyed out. I did the registry changes and it fixed that, but the first problem is still there.
