Yet Another Updated Version Of MSE ?

I've just been over at BetaNews to view the latest software releases of the day, and see that Microsoft has released another update to MSE - subsequent to the one issued on Patch Tuesday for February.

That one was 4.2.223.0

The one issued today is 4.2.223.1 - in both 32 and 64 bit versions.

Does anybody here know anything about this ?

Lighthouse, open your programs & features click on MSE and at the bottom see it says version 4.2.223.1

I've just d/l and installed from Win Update with no probs. How about uninstalling/rebooting/installing LH?

It doesn't say the version. But I know it's 2 versions back, cos that is the only one that would install.

Did you try uninstalling the old version first LH

Could well be, will dig a bit deeper tomorrow. When I tried to install the 1st version on an XP system, a while ago, that had the same problem. Gave up on that one in the end.

I think I'll wait for this one to officially come out as not had anything come through on Win update as yet.

Like GS, Nothing for MSE here except definition 1.145.779.0. Use MSE on my Vista and XP machines.
