I can't get the image to work since it is on my cpu, and not the internet. So I shall do my best to describe my dilema. I have an HP notebook with windows vista basic. On the right side of my taskbar is a "Yahoo! Search" bar that I never use. I'd like to get rid of it, but I don't know how.

Please and thankyou :D

If you go into Add/Remove programs in Control Panel, you should be able to uninstall the Yahoo Search toolbar entirely. (it should be in the list, just choose Uninstall)

If you don't want to be quite as drastic, delete it from the startup programs.

Those toolbars are obnoxious, which is why I usually just uninstall them as fast as I can.
