Yahoo! rolls out new e-mail domains

Yahoo! has just (today?) started taking e-mail signups on two new domains, @ymail.com and @rocketmail.com. Since these are new domains, all of the good usernames aren't taken yet. However, you should hurry if you want to get your favorite. If you already have a Yahoo! account, you need to sign out first, then go to: http://www.ymail.com

I got "scottw" -- short & sweet, easy to read over the phone, and it's really my name and last initial.

awh, should've seen this post 2 hours ago while i was still at home, web mails are blocked here at the office, awh, now somebody might take 'pipo.' btw, do these new yahoo domains still don't support imap/pop3 like gmail?

That's where I found out about the new domains and there is also a quote from a Yahoo guy about a rolling thunder of announcements over the next 6-8 months. There are no specifics, but hopefully IMAP will be in there along with other great features to keep up with, or better, Gmail.
