I have admin account.
I have set up a limited user account with a password.
Now, the limited user is able to go Control Panel > User account > change password and change the password.
Is there a way to 'disable' this changing of password by the user?

Yes. To do so:
1. Right click on "My Computer" and select Manage.
2. In the left pane double click "Local Users and Groups".
3. Click "Users".
4. Double Click a user account.
5. Check "User cannot change password".
6. Click OK and close the "Computer Management" window.

Also, I'm wondering why do you want to disable the ability to change passwords for that user?

@jd2066

About time I replied, huh? ! ;-)
Thank you for the tip. Much helpful.
Why I would need this? For kids in the house who have their own user accounts - they only have that one password to contend with instead of playing around with different passwords and then forgetting which one they have set up. Trying to keep it simple.

Thanks again.
