Currently Windows Vista does not provide the very same and easily accessible
"Internet Games" feature that Windows XP has. Windows XP "Internet Games"
permit a user to got strait to the MSN Gaming Zone and play checker immediately.

Someone please direct me or provide me with information on how to install the
"Internet Games" component from Window XP cd onto Windows Vista or transfer
the necessary files from a Window XP pc to a Windows Vista pc.

thx

Here is your answer. This only works on 32Bit. Install Windows XP That have the MSN Internet Games Backgammon Checkers Hearts Reversi Spades. Then put short cuts to your desktop to what ever game you like to play. Now put vista on as an upgrade and the games will be there. Note: There is no upgrade for 64 BIT that I know of. Upgrage Info from MS site this is helpful

There is another way. You can run XP Inside of Vista so you can play all your XP games using these programs.

Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 SP1 It’s free

Go here to download it

There is another program called VirtualBox that does the same thing.
You can download it from here-- Free
