I have notebook acer Aspire 4710 w/ windows vista pre-installed after used vista for 1 weeks I decided to dual boot it with windows xp soI follow the article about dual boot xp and pre-installed vista in this website. Everything went well, but after I re-boot to windows XP, I noticed that I can't hear any sound from my speaker. I thought there was problem in audio driver so I installed the driver (realtek ac'97) but still my audio didn't work. I looking in internet for problem solving, but everything only makes my headache and wasting my time to download so many audio driver (already tried sp32395.exe didn't work too), the driver from acer website sucks. Can someone help me to solve the audio problem?

If you are dual booting then you will have to find a driver for your sound card. If you have the default Realtek I can email you the driver.

You could probably also find the drivers from the realtek site, although I'm not positive about that.

What he said. You can definitely do that here:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/down.....Down=false

You want the second one on the list, the one after the Vista driver.
