Hi Guys and Gurls,
I have installed Xnview on my vista home basic laptop and I have associated image files in xnview properties but when I double click an image file in windows explorer it keeps opening windows picture viewer and not xnview. How can I set files to open in xnview other then setting all the file types manually?

Sometimes it helps to associate one of those filetypes manually. If not try to associate them again after doing this. You might need to reassociate them again with windows picture viewer and then try again, before Vista 'catches' on.
At least that happened when I did the same with using Irfanview as default viewer.

@Sarah James, I installed IrfanView and I noticed it assocaiated image files straight away. Nice surname! :)
@LH, I thought that might be the case...however its very annoying isn't, whats the point of having the xnview setup to associate if it doesnt do what its suppose to
