Has anyone used xbmc for Windows yet?

I downloaded it earlier and it is a very impressive media center. In my opinion it is the best Windows Media Center available, topping even Microsoft's own Media Center.

The software is currently in alpha state for Windows (it is also available for Mac and Linux, also in alpha state), but is still very impressive.

I recommend everyone to at least download the software to try it out.

For those that have tried it out, or do try it out, what are your opinions?

I haven't tested it out yet, but I've been considering it... I just need to get another hard drive for my second mac mini (hdd died).

Too bad about your hdd, hopefully you can fix it easily.

If you have been considering it, I highly recommend it, the only problem I have run into was when I tried to put it in 1080i resolution it locked up.

I can't speak for the Mac and Linux versions as I have nothing to test either on right now, but the Windows version is very nice.

Hmm... that's my problem, playing high def video. I actually have a Neuros box, which works well for standard def content.

Well I can get it to run on 720p or 1680 x 1050. I have been playing around with it and it has a lot of nice features, eventually I am going to download some skins and scripts for it, but for now I am going to see what is built in.
