Its not a carp, its a mahseer. They grow to twice the size of the one pictured. (the mail pic)

Its definatley not a carp. Carp are predominantly bottom feeders and all species have downturned mouths (except grass carp, and they are elongated and dont grow much above 30 pounds) it looks like a mahseer, though its scales should be silver and larger. So it probably isnt.
