Word not opening when lauched via link in IE 7

If you already have a word document open and click on a document link within IE 7 the second word doc stays minimized in the task bar and blinks. In order to view the word document you must click on the minimized word app. Has anyone else experianced this? How do I fix this?

I experience this all the time, it doesn't autoswitch. I dunno why. There may be way around it, but afaik there is none. Sorry =(

Try dragging it to the desktop. Works with pictures sometimes.
