Word 2007 is installed on a Gateway running Windows xp. The spell checker has run fine all year. All of a sudden, it stopped functioning. I checked the options to make sure a co-worker didn't change something, there is ample free disk space, Microsoft diagnostics did not identify a problem, no virus was found on the machine, and I defragged. Does anyone have any ideas? I seems so strange. Everything else seems to be running okay. One article i read suggested a change may have taken place in the registry, but I can't understand how since i don't even know how to access it. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am a poor typist and speller!
