Hello,

Is there a way to remove unnecessary paragraph makers in Word 2007. I control my spacing with styles, but if I have to edit documents written by others, the spacing is usually a result of pressing the Enter key, thereby adding the paragraph marker.

Thanks,

Can you go to Editor Options> Display> untick Paragraph Markers?

If you want to hide the markers all together under the home, tab click the show/hide markers option, which is located in the upper right hand corner of the paragraph toolbar

Hello,

I would like to remove unnecessary marks, those that do not server any purpose, usually after the last paragraph at the end of a page. Some people use hard returns to get to the next page, rather then clicking Insert > Page Break.

The solutions mention above only hide the marks.
