spell check will not work and I cannot find the address book. I use outlook express and do not want to change to Microsoft Outlook. How do I take care of all this.

Welcome to The HTG Forums.
Not really sure how to handle the issue.
I would start at link below and begin digging using examples as given for 2003 and later.

As a rule of thumb, don't ever install software programs (even MS programs) unless, in advance, you pretty well know how they will interact with existing software and also have good clean system back-ups archived.
