Is this the SAME ONE marked SOLVED???

Question, HOW do you know it is connected, please explain?

Open a COMMAND PROMPT and enter IPCONFIG /ALL and paste the results here please.

Of particular interest would be these lines and the contents you get back :

IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2(Preferred)
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

What is the ROUTER make and model? It should have a LOG and DHCP list you can look at, depending on where it is on the router... you'd have to look at it and explore to find those and see if you really are making a connection.
