Hi lemonguy6, do you mean the router completely turns itself off then on again, or that it looses connection and regains. Matt

It sounds like it keeps rebooting to me. Most routers have a Linux OS built in which seems to be faulty. Do you have the option in your router menu to upgrade the firmware?

Yes, the ip address, then you could either try restoring it back to factory setting or do an update. If you decide to do either of these you may need to use your login details given to you by your ISP

EDIT: After looking around it seems to be the firmware that is the problem, you need to update it.

Let me have a look around for you. In the meantime you can download the latest firmware here. Try typing in Administrator, no password

I have just registered myself, so you don´t need to, I can send you the file per E-Mail. I have access to your account so please don´t write it here. Matt

Did you try the "Administrator" username login?

That file will have to be loaded into the router, you will have to gain access to your routers menu before you can do anything!! Or have you got that sorted now?

ok, there is a reset button on the back of your router, you will need to press this for 10-15 (better 15) seconds which will reset back to default. Administrator, no password. CAUTION!!!!: I don´t know if this also resets your login details from your ISP so you will need to know what they are before doing this. Matt

madmacs,
unfortunately, i cannot access to my internet , because i reset the router , and neither the default password nor the current is working.
im using a friend's wireless network at the moment .

please help me out, what should i do.
when i connect want to connect to my router , it says limited or no connectivity , or connected but i cant open the web.

anyway on the router , where it says wireless , the light is not green , it's orange.

so what u say ?

lemonguy6, did you get your router from your ISP? If so, long have you had it? I would contact them and ask to send you a new one as this one is faulty. Can you now access the router´s settings?

EDIT: Did you try connecting to router through WLAN or LAN?

I have found one more thing that you could try out, reset the router again (make sure you hold down reset for at least 15 seconds) then try this,
Username: Administrator
Password: the serial number of your router found on the bottom of router.
Serial number looks like this: CP123456789 (12) type in without brackets and numbers within them ie. only CP123456789. Matt

hey,
well, yes i got it the from telephone company , and i told them that i want to change it . they did not accept, they said i need to pay for a new one like that , so i was like , it unfair , it was bad from the begining.
anyway, when i reset it from the first time, i could not access it , because my network is secured , and as i told you the default password that came with the router and my current one , did not work.
so that way i cant access to the settings ! ! !
you know what, just like forget it . i already contacted them , but they dont want to change it. i will try as much as i can , if not , i'll buy a new router like ( Linksys ) or something.
ill let you know with the updates.

Thanks for your help.
