My girlfriend's house has a Motorola modem, and I think the model number is 2210-02-1002. It's not very clear on that. Anyway, they also have a Linksys WRT54G2 (v1.0) router. I'm trying to get the wi-fi to work, but I'm having problems. I can access the router settings through 192.168.1.1, and I can set up the router with no issues. When I try to connect with a wireless device like my iPod Touch, it sees the network and can connect just fine. But, I can't load any pages or access the internet at all.

I think it's a problem with the modem, because I can't access the modem through the settings IP thing of 192.168.1.254. Also, whenever I would change any settings for the router, the internet on the PC would go out and have to reconnect. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but it makes me think that the modem is defective and crappy. They have replaced the modem before because it had a defect, and got the same one, and I'm thinking it's just this specific one that's bad.

Thanks.
