on my hp pavilion dv6915nr laptop every time i turn it on it always says that my wireless is disabled and i'm not sure how to make it work. it's not a huge problem right now but will be sometime if i need to connect via wireless connection. i have tried putting new drivers on to try and fix it but nothing i've tried so far has worked so far

(14 posts)Did you actually turn it on with the little switch in the front (push to the left) and the light must be blue - not amber. Else it is also possible that the switch is broken like on my HP 6000. Then you have to get a WiFi USB stick. Jack, call me crazy but I think you should read the instructions. If the light is orange/yellow/amber then all wireless devices are off:
Wireless light:
* Blue: An integrated wireless device, such as a WLAN device and/or a Bluetooth® device, is turned on.
* Amber: An integrated wireless device is turned off.
If that's not the answer, try some more instructions from HP:
