Hi all, first question here.
Hopefully it's just a quick one.

Over the years, I've seen and used several tweaks to get Explorer to open in different views.

For example, to open with 'My computer' expanded to show the drives, I've right clicked on the shortcut and added
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} to the Target box in the Shortcut Properties.

Similarly, to get it to open with My Documents expanded instead, I've replaced that with
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,::{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}

(No idea where these strings come from... who on Earth could ever work that out for themselves!)

I think I've seen other tweaks to re-arrange the order that things are shown in too.

Now, I'm picky... what I'd like to have, if it's possible, is for Explorer to open with BOTH the My Documents and MY Computer sections expanded (and for MY Docs to still be at the top, above My Comp.

I know its a bit sad, but it would just make my life that little bit easier.

Possible?

Hello AndyP and welcome to HTG.

I'm not sure if what you ask if possible but here are a few links you can explore.
