Windows Vista don't save directories icon size

When I set the icon size for a directory in vista, it forgets the setting... Typical I select medium sized icons, and it fall back to detailed view next time I open the directory. but, it seems random, some times It select other sizes...

In: "control panel > Directory settings > show" I have "remember each directories display settings" check, but it doesn't seem to work...

I got the Windows Vista Ultimate in Danish, so the naming might be somewhat of...

What view type do you have on the folder? For instance, some folders can be pre-set to "pictures" or "music" views, which seems to screw that all up.

I think I found a solution... Apparently something had gone wrong... but, I fixed it by selecting properties for the folder,then I pressed "default" in the box where you can select file to be display on the folder. Then I could select "apply" and then it all worked...
