Windows Visa running really slow....any help/advice?

Questions:
1. What does "very slow" mean? How does that manifest itself?
2. How much RAM does your system have?

If it is running slow at startup use msconfig to stop some programs from starting. Have 1gb of RAM at least or else you can expect your computer to go slow.
